You want to bring in additional developers or an established team. The required capabilities, collaboration with your team and a clear division of responsibility all matter.
Many providers sound like a good fit. ValueLeap helps you identify relevant differences and base your selection on your needs. We combine your requirements with market knowledge, extensive partner selection experience, and provider information and evidence you can explore on TransparencyWins.

You want to bring in additional developers or an established team. The required capabilities, collaboration with your team and a clear division of responsibility all matter.
You need a partner to build or evolve a software solution. Technical requirements, delivery responsibility and the engagement model need to work together.
You need specific expertise, perhaps for an integration, modernisation or particular security and compliance requirements. Relevant experience helps you identify candidates and the questions that still need to be addressed for your project.
Provider websites and presentations often describe similar strengths. A convincing presentation alone does not establish whether a provider fits your project. Our selection approach helps you identify relevant differences and reduce untested assumptions before committing.
Provider information shows the capabilities, experience and working arrangements described, as well as the gaps.
Case studies and other available evidence help you evaluate claims. Their source, recency and relevance determine what you can reasonably conclude.
ValueLeap connects the information you can research with your needs and other market sources to assess relevant candidates.
We help you establish selection reasons and test important assumptions about the team, responsibility and collaboration.
This makes your decision less dependent on provider presentations. A safer approach gives you greater clarity before engagement; project risks still need to be managed.
Tell us what you want to build or change, the support you need and the constraints that matter. You do not need a completed RFP or a full evaluation framework to begin.
A ValueLeap Client Partner will discuss the appropriate next step and possible scope with you. You can also bring an existing candidate list or shortlist. Services, responsibility and compensation are agreed before a mandate begins.
Helpful starting information includes your project, the support you need and key constraints, such as technology, collaboration or your intended start. Initially, share only the information you wish to provide for this contact.
On TransparencyWins, you can explore provider profiles, published case studies and available information about capabilities and experience. Compare the information against your requirements and record open questions. ValueLeap helps you assess what it means for your project and determine which checks matter.
You can use TW independently and involve ValueLeap from the start or for specific selection questions. A provider statement, a reported project and a verified piece of evidence establish different things. Missing information initially means a question remains open.
Documented ValueLeap client experience and a separately published provider case study. The case study does not establish that TransparencyWins was used during the original partner selection.
The sourcing challenge. Sensirion needed a more technically capable partner to maintain, improve and further develop several company websites. Its previous agency could no longer meet the expected technical and quality requirements.
ValueLeap’s contribution. According to Katharina Jacobi, Director Marketing & Communications at Sensirion, ValueLeap supported the search for a replacement agency in Poznań, Poland. She reports fewer technical issues, less downtime, improved response times and lower costs after the change.
Evidence from delivery. Merixstudio’s published Sensirion case describes the ongoing development of a group of content-rich web services. The provider reports improvements to site performance and latency; these figures are provider-reported results, not independently verified by ValueLeap.
What a Tech Buyer can assess. Compare Sensirion’s account of the partner search with Merixstudio’s case study, review the provider profile on TransparencyWins and examine which capabilities, operating arrangements and claims are relevant to your own requirements. A client reference and a provider case are complementary evidence, not a blanket assurance of current team fit.
ValueLeap connects the information available with your specific needs. Depending on the agreed scope, we help you identify relevant candidates, apply selection criteria, develop a reasoned shortlist and validate important assumptions before deciding.
Possible outputs include:
A shortlist is a reasoned narrower selection. It does not mean that every requirement or the suitability of an offered team has been fully validated. A separate longlist is not necessary for every search.
Use the existing shortlist check to review your selection reasons, sources and open questions. The research you have already done remains the starting point.
Clarify the services and responsibility you need. Research relevant candidates, compare their statements and review available evidence. ValueLeap helps you connect that information with your requirements and address open questions before selecting a partner.
No. Start with your project and initial constraints. The key requirements will need to be clarified as you work towards a reasoned selection.
Yes. TransparencyWins is an independently usable research tool. You can explore public provider information and case studies, and involve ValueLeap when you want help interpreting the information or selecting a partner.
Free registration, with no obligation, gives you access to all information about service providers on TransparencyWins. Select “General Business (tech users)” to continue your research using the full information available.
Yes. An existing candidate list or shortlist can be the starting point. We discuss which criteria, evidence and open questions matter for your next decision. The shortlist check provides an initial review framework.
It provides information for research and an initial assessment. Provider statements and case studies do not replace checks on the specific team offered, its availability or responsibility. Your requirements and the evidence available determine which statements need further validation.
The scope depends on your selection question and is agreed before a mandate begins. Some Partner Selection activities may be compensated by participating partners. Consulting Support and specialist assessments are normally buyer-paid on an agreed fee basis. Combined mandates disclose the models separately. For Government engagements, ValueLeap acts either as a buyer-side consultant or as a partner representative in a given case; these roles are not combined in the same case. The client, interests, services, compensation and relevant relationships are clarified contractually.
Whether you are just starting or already evaluating candidates, tell us about your project and the decision you want help with. We will discuss the appropriate next step and possible scope with you.
